Ben Borodach is the co-founder and CEO of april, an embedded tax technology company building AI-powered filing, planning, and insights capabilities for banks, fintechs, and wealth platforms. He leads the team turning complex tax code into real-time, personalized financial insights that are embedded directly into the applications people use every day to manage money. Under Ben's leadership, april became the first new IRS approved national e-file provider in roughly 15 years, one of only about 10 nationwide. The platform now reaches millions of taxpayers through more than 60 partners. This past tax season april processed over 1.4 million federal and state returns, making it the 8th-largest e-filing provider in the U.S. Before april, Ben advised leading U.S. banks and insurers at Deloitte, then helped build fintech and cybersecurity ventures at Team8, including Curv and Visible Risk.
